3M™ Medical Transfer Adhesive 4075 is an extended wear medical transfer adhesive on a roll, consisting of a pressure sensitive tackified acrylic adhesive on a 2 mil clear polyester silicone release liner. It allows design engineers to choose from a variety of backings and can be used for multi-layer construction in health care medical devices. The adhesive is designed for long-term wear, offering good processability and omni-directional stretch.
• Material: The adhesive is a thick, relatively soft tackified acrylic provided on a thin, clear polyester liner with differential silicone release chemistry on both sides.
• Adhesive: It features a pressure sensitive tackified acrylic adhesive, suitable for extended wear with excellent initial skin adhesion and up to a 14-day wear time, depending on the backing material used.
• Liner: 2 mil clear polyester silicone release liner.
• Properties: Extended weartime acrylic adhesive that is repositionable, conformable, and water-resistant; it offers good processability, omni-directional stretch, and can be combined with various backings for customized applications.
• Applications: Designed for long-term wear medical devices, device attachment, and material/technology for health care or medical device construction; it may be integrated with additional 3M technologies for finished device innovations in extended wear applications
